Big life news! Last year I decided to get pregnant on my own, but also not on my own at all. I am wildly lucky that my family, my friends, my donor, even my professional community have supported me (us??!!) in this big big decision to make family from my own body. 🐣 Baby Brown emerges this spring 🐣
To Melt is to move from solid —> to —> liquid. It is the state of dissolving, of surrendering, of falling apart completely.
For weeks, we worked on developing a 6-course tasting menu and event to create the experience of melting with our dear friend & collaborator @saintagnes.studio . The night before all this was set to happen our venue fell through 🫠 … So in the spirit of melting, we decided to host the whole thing anyway, but on the sidewalk and in the pouring rain.
Thankfully, y’all were down. And honestly, the rain turned out to be the true star of the show, and schooled us in the meaning of our own project.
