You know how they say about poking a bear? Well hibernation is over.
And in reflecting on the absence of projects/releases throughout 2023 and the continuation of that into Q1 2024, one might view this hiatus as a regression. However, after deeper contemplation, I’ve come to look at this period not with disappointment but as an invaluable opportunity for personal growth and introspection. It has been a revealing time, allowing me to discern between those driven by self-interest, focused solely on their individual projects and endeavors (but with our help/resources), and those who possess the foresight to prioritize the collective success of our team.
And as I assess the journey through the 2023 and Q1 2024, it’s clear that it has been a challenging time, punctuated by errors and disorder. But the experience was not wholly negative nor positive, it was undeniably instructive. I admit that there’s substantial room for improvement, and I’m committed to exceeding the expectations set before me. This period of reflection has only intensified my resolve to lead with greater insight and determination, ensuring our collective vision and goals are not just met, but surpassed. thanks for coming to my #TedTalk🤞🏾

This is “Evolved Me” to my lesser self, manifesting my Hollywood dreams. Now let’s be clear, I said I wanted to run a production studio and do multiple projects at the same time. I didn’t say I wanted to be Kevin Feige minus the Marvel-sized piggybank. But Note to self: I have to work on being specific when speaking things into existence.
7 Years ago we both said I do. To the common eye, it could’ve looked like we rushed things, but truthfully it was sooo easy to love you and I always want to be around you. I know these words may show others what’s in my heart, but it’s only glimpse of how I feel about our love as our connection is an unspoken understanding that words can’t describe.
I thank you for choosing me daily to be your husband. Because with you in my life, I’ve become better. At everything. We’ve learned each other and grown together. So as I reflect on these years Cheryl, I’m reminded of all the moments we’ve had. 🙏🏾😏
