Hello little boy 🎛️😍 testing the new @akai_pro #mpcsample in the studio. Still learning this new device and workflow - but it reminds me a bit of my 2000xl. I like the limitation and simplicity of it. In the 2nd slide you can hear my 2nd beat that I‘ve made quickly with some stock sounds today…only raw camera sound. Nothing special, …more beats will follow 🙌 But it’s really easy to chop up samples fast, get some ideas, recording loops on the go…I’m hoping for more features in the next update (more tracks and stem export would be great) Today I finally found my micro-sd‘s to work with my own library and samples soon 🙏😅 Let‘s go! 🥳 #akaipro #mpc #akaimpc #mrfreed

„One 4 Grandma“ is dedicated to my late grandmother - her name was Barbara. She passed away last year end of november and lived to the proud age of 93.🕊️ I created this beat in 2022 on her side while she was drawing - she lived in my parents’ house for a few months at this time. A beautiful moment, as we were both in the creative process. (captured in the 2. slide). This tribute couldn’t be more genuine, and I really wanted to share it with the world to tell her story. She grew up in this little house (in Lower Austria) pictured on the cover. Photographed in the 70s. My father also grew up in this house, and I often visited there as a little boy — it holds fond memories for me as well. My grandma, born in 1932, grew up in modest circumstances during World War II. Her childhood was marked by deprivation, hunger, and hard work. She had seven siblings - two brothers never returned from the war. Her first husband died at the age of only 46, her second husband in 2008. She raised 3 children and a son-in-law, had 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She devoted her entire life to her family.
