I got accepted into my first artist residency for photography. And it starts tomorrow. In Greece 😳
The last couple of weeks have been, uhh, interesting while I spiralled between excitement and anxiety. But I’m finally on my way and ready to surrender to the process 💫
I can’t wait to meet the other artists and see what we create over the next couple of weeks.

A surreal milestone.
Seeing this piece come to life at this scale was such a special moment. My largest fine art print to date, selected from my archive for a gorgeous desert home.
So grateful to my client for trusting me through this process, and to @iconla for bringing the print to life so beautifully.

Just signed up to open my studio for @hwy62arttours again this year.
These shots were taken during my open studio last year, with the large-scale mixed media installation I built in the lead up to the event.
I collected shiny and blue materials from the desert for weeks to bring this vision to life around the central photograph - and felt a lot like a human bowerbird 🪺
Excited to see where my process leads over this year and what new work I’ll have to share.

40!! 🎈✨
Entered a new decade surrounded by the people and the desert I love.
I never believed people when they said life begins at 40, but now I actually get it.
I know myself now more than I ever have, and each day brings new ease, peace, and ability to trust and flow with the universe. To fall in love with the process of being alive.
It’s taken me until this point to really grasp how much life is ours to shape.
And I can only hope I’m lucky enough to keep experiencing all it has in store, with the wisdom of age and an open heart, for many more years to come.

If you’d told me 5 years ago this is what I’d be wearing to work meetings, I would’ve laughed and said you’re dreamin’.
But here we are. Today’s work fit. Today’s office.
Life is wild. Grateful for all the twists and turns that led me here, and every day I get to see where the ride goes next 💫

What started as an experiment to see if I could last a week has turned into a pretty eye-opening journey. For someone who considered extra-dirty gin martinis basically a personality trait, the beginning was honestly kind of rough.
But after some time, the mental clarity I gained and a new awareness of feelings and patterns I didn’t even realize I was avoiding felt so good I wanted to keep going.
Not sure how long I’ll keep it up yet, but wanted to share in case you’re also curious about trying it. Honestly can’t recommend it enough as a reset for body and mind.
Shoutout to @desierto_alto for carrying an insane range of NA spirits and elixirs to create the mocktails of your dreams.
