One baby step towards the big picture šæ.
Got to be a small part of something thats gonna go down in Bollywood history. Before I had even discovered my love for music, as a Punjabi kid born and raised in Bombay I used to tell everybody that when I grow up I want to be an actor. This was nothing close to that, but seeing myself in theatres somewhere made that lil kid proud. Glad to be a part of a production that happens to be so fundamentally in sync with my approach as a songwriter and my belief in the power of music as an expression and a reflection of my most valued relationships.
Humbling to experience @mohitsuri@ahaanpandayy@aneetpadda_ and the whole team in action. @samit_kapoor thanks for putting us on.

Is puchka actually better tho š¤§
Hereās everything I ate around Kolkata on Day 3 - street food, long walks, stormy weather & heavy Kolkata vibes.
Bilas Pandit Ke Puchka (Southern Avenue) - āBRO U GOTTA TRY PUCHKAā ehh⦠puchka still isnāt for me. Then again, Iāve never fully understood the pani puri hype either. Kolkata-style puchka is way more sour, sharper & intense compared to Mumbai chaat culture - and while I respect it, I fear I might just be a pani puri hater in general.
Chandu Bhelwala (Southern Avenue) completely redeemed the day though. The bhel was too sick. Crunchy, balanced, fresh - exactly what good street food should taste like. Kairi killed it.
Sookha puchka was also surprisingly way better than regular puchka for me.
Best part of the day was walking around Rabindra Sarobar while a storm rolled in, taking shelter outside Lion Safari Park at a tapri and drinking lemon tea that somehow tasted like a warm Hajmola. This tea was weirdly banging idk where else ill get a similar flavour profile for tea.
Huge gratitude to Kolkata for the hospitality, the food culture & the overall vibe. Couldnāt explore enough Bengali non-veg this trip, so definitely coming back for that.
Save this reel for your Kolkata trip.

Suggestions -
Bunaphile Coffee @bunaphilekolkata - Honey Cinnamon Cold Brew is a must. Easily my favorite brew out of a few i tried.
Cal-On @calon.kolkata - Order the Thai Stuffed Cheese Wontons. No thoughts, just order them. Lebanese chicken kebab was great too. Pizza was decent, Whiskey Zeylan was TOP.
