AK Trip part 2.
Blue days, steep lines, mind blowing terrain, epic sunset ride outs, parking lots, ice cave espresso martinis, all with amazing homies. Can’t really beat it…
Showed up to an epic weather window and was able to get out right away with a bunch of different homies on the pass, so many new friends 🙌
I got on skis for the first time after bungin up my knee successfully and was able to regain a lot of confidence riding, super grateful it felt solid!

AK Trip part 1: The Drive, CO-AK
I left on my birthday with 2 sleds, all my gear, an injured knee, high hopes and low expectations. I made it to Valdez with 3 sleds, more gear and @colterjh ‘s items left in the Yukon, a sore jaw/eyes from smiling/geeking out, and a full cup in 3 1/2 days. The drive was 56 hours of absolutely amazing, gnarly, and epic truckin. Caught the hot spring in the Yukon under the northern lights, almost smoked a buffalo at midnight, jumped the truck on frost heaves, listened to every Waylon and Jerry Reed song 20 times… These are some of my favorite moments from the journey north.
Huge thanks to everyone that gave recommendations and helped me get up there! It was the perfect way to start an epic trip.
