Once upon a time, two millennial artists from Hawaii and Toronto crossed paths. Little did they know their artistic journeys were about to take a wildly entertaining twist! Here’s what I learned… 1. Mistakes are a diagnosis, not a verdict 2. Your brain learns more from failure than repetition 3. Perfectionism isn’t protecting your art, it’s just stopping you from making any 4. The ugly phase is part of the process, not proof you’re bad at it 5. You’ve been comparing your beginning to someone else’s middle 6. The second layer pulling off the first isn’t a mistake — it’s technique you now know 7. Rest doesn’t kill creativity. Guilt does. I’ve been away from painting for a while. New baby, survival mode, you know how it goes. Coming back has been humbling to say the least lol. But I’m still showing up anyways and I’d love to invite you. So I’m going ✨LIVE this Saturday 4/11 at 2 PM HST | 5 PM PST | 8 PM EST✨ and for the first time there’s no agenda or tutorial.
