We made it 🥹🥹🥹
Completing Everest Base Camp with @andrewcornishxx and @maaolafaasavala has been an absolute dream and the trip of a lifetime 🩵
We stayed positive 99% of the time (1% was on the way to base camp in snow fall and -20 degree winds but hey we faked some positive affirmations) and laughed/cackled the entire 11 days. Shout out to the 🐐’s Krishna and Moskel for taking us on this journey. Such legends
There were times of no power, we’ve had no caffeine, no meat and no showers since the beginning and boyyyy does it feel good to wash my hair after two weeks 🥴 but also felt so good to go back to basics
And a final big shout out to our trio for not getting sick at all!! Some people had to turn back and some people had to helicopter down, so I’m proud of us for being such weapons and making it the whole way through 🤯
Feeling so grateful for this trip and my mates!! I hope Thailand is ready because we are ready to defrost and bring the heat 🥵🥂

Meg (she/her) is an Auckland-based producer, actress and writer. Since moving from Whāngarei in 2020, she has trained at The Actors’ Program, toured theatre around NZ and starred in the documentary ‘The Man Outside’ directed by Olivia McClymont.
Most recently, Meg has been busy in post-production for her short film ‘Yeah The Girls’, created through her production company Yeah Nah Productions. YTG will be hitting the festival circuit in 2026.
As well as YTG, Meg (alongside Connor) has received Day One funding for the next short film project, ‘Lest We Forget’, which is currently in pre-production.
