Last night left me feeling incredibly grateful, emotional, and inspired. Being named a finalist for
@californiaweddingday Best Of was truly such an honor, and although we didn’t take home the win this year, I’m walking away with so much gratitude and perspective. A few years ago, MDL Events was simply a dream I was building while balancing nursing school and trying to figure out where life was leading me. I never could have imagined one day being recognized alongside some of the most talented creatives in the wedding industry. Moments like this remind me just how far this journey has come. It was especially such an honor to be nominated alongside Ricardo with
@elegantdetailsflowers , Angelique with
@flowersbykim , and Kelley with
@preciousbloom . Being surrounded by creatives whose work I truly admire and respect made this experience even more meaningful. One of the greatest gifts this industry has given me is community. In a world where competition can so easily take over, the wedding industry has continuously reminded me that there is so much power in supporting one another, uplifting fellow creatives, and celebrating each other’s successes. Tonight was such a beautiful reminder that this industry truly is the definition of community over competition. To every client, vendor, friend, family member, and person who voted, shared our posts, referred our name, or supported MDL Events in any way, thank you from the bottom of my heart. None of this would be possible without you. This year may not have ended with a win, but it reminded me that success is so much more than an award. It’s the relationships built, the memories created, and the community that surrounds you along the way. And for that, I already feel incredibly lucky. ♥️
