a Zimbabwean multidisciplinary artist bringing to you Chisipiti a new show here on Trafohaus. Chisipiti is a Shona word meaning a natural spring of water. In Zimbabwean culture, such springs are sacred, a reminder you have been loved before you have known. With that said Chisipiti is a curated listening sessions with messages from the source.

Am Festival präsentiert sie „Afamba Apota (Travelling Homes)“, eine Spoken-Word-Performance mit Musik.

Mexico was such a spontaneous calling and l am happy l responded. To travel for me with a Zimbabwean Passport is resistance to the systematic challenges l face with my green bomber, every time it feels like an accomplishment yet its my birthright to see the earth, to which l am only just a visitor to.
With that out of the way, wooow how rich the land is, the nature is showing off with leaves that grow taller than me and wild shit like cenotes, l could not believe the deliciousness and sensuality life had to offer, till now my head sounds like tacos tacos tacos, such beautiful people, l realised l could as well smile the whole time cause that was the energy l was getting.
I was mesmerized to see how the Mexican people have kept their indigenous practices particularly that of remembering those who have transcended, from the flutes that sound like birds, frogs, and even the voice of the dead. Literally tripping just from the trip
