3627 B Cass Ave turns 6 ⭐️ Old Soul Vintage turns 12 💖 Yakno there’s a ton to express so I’m gonna ~ The complexities of running a small business are life changing and mind altering. Every single day there’s something to be stressed about or something to feel. If you know me, you understand what I’m saying. Most of you tell me to calm down. Which, I oblige… only for a brief moment though. (Sorry, guys). But, I wouldn’t change it for the damn world ~ Looking back on the last six years: I have met life long friends, I’ve met some of thee most inspiring artists ever. I/We’ve even had the honor to create with some of them ~ It keeps me completely in awe of the city of Detroit. I’ve always loved this city. This is THEE best city on earth. I’ll love this city till the day I die. The community has always been number one and same goes for history and then of course fashion and CANT forget music. The heart and soul of this operation stems from those core values. The core values in which are written in my 12th grade English notebook as I was trying to figure out a name for the store. My Grandma always called me an old soul and Madonna is actually one of the reasons I fell in love with vintage [iykyk] Anyway, what I’m trying to say is, a dream has now turned into a home. We’ve thrown one hell of a party errr two I’d say ~ We’ve found some unbelievable treasures ~ some in which I’ll never forget and I’ll hold on to forever. We’ve created some pretty cool things and I’m excited to constantly evolve and grow and connect and create more. Cherished memories to last a goddamn lifetime. Laughs I’ll never forget, especially with my Audrey. Man, I’m sure as hell a lucky gal. I have such a beautiful team, supportive friends and family. Whom in which I thank the stars above for everyday ~ I love you all so much. Wow! I sure do! Huge thank you to our customers, neighbors and Detroit organizations who are really helpin out the little guys here in the city. We are beyond appreciative for your guidance. Hi! I am working on a personal project ~ A zine about Detroit (…shocker). I’m trying to capture the numerous amount of nostalgic places I grew up around before they tear them all down. The zine will also have other Detroit focused themes I love and grew up with.
