always when arriving in brazil, a huge wave of emotion runs over. Those of immense happiness. Being back feels empowering, exhilarating. I feel strength, sun, salt on my skin. I feel parts of me coming to light, I (have to) hide during my existence on the other side of the world. I burst.
Still, so many insecurities arise simultaneously. Questions of belonging, questions of home. Welcome to my inner constant under construction mode

MARÉ stands for our fluidity and adaptation, just as water - the name-giving element for our collective - is in constant motion, we acknowledge change and transformation in our work, while seeking to engage with our ever shifting environment.

time has finally come for us to introduce ourselves: We are MARÉ, a photo collective consisting of the photographers Anne Speltz @anneandthesun , Hannah Aders @hannah_aders and Thea Marie Klinger @thea.marie.klinger
MARÉ exists because we want to support each other as flinta photographers and work together on photographic projects.
