What a weekend of weather thanks to Mother Nature....
We both are very grateful that the event for March 29th & 30th ( Pancake Breakfast and Lumberjack shows) were cancelled.
As we noted in our cancellation posts.....it was not safe under and around the trees. We woke up Saturday morning with 1/2 inch ice accumulation. Power went off at 1 am Sunday morning. It rained most of Sunday early morning until 2pm. The rain quickly accumulated to 3/4 inch and icing on the branches was heavy here.
Thankful no one was sitting under the trees in our main tent.....as you can see, lots of damage.
Clean up will begin when it is a bit drier.....
No damage to any buildings, main house, log house or sugar house.....
