The topic of the day, is love! Falling in love is super intense – did you know it actually lights up your brain in the same way as addiction? Love, romantic love, is a very strong feeling, isn’t it? But that amazing, exciting feeling isn’t only found in romance. You can feel that same rush for your passions, your big dreams, and even when you’re being creative... no, especially, when you’re being creative! I have found love in expressing myself as a make-up artist. It’s not just romance; it’s passion in every spark of creation. I didn’t really choose my passion, it actually found me; very much like how love surprises you when you least expect it. And exactly like your favourite online couple’s fandom, external support fuels our love for our work. Let’s zoom in on this look and our beautiful model. Red is for passion, red is for desire! The red hues represent the initial rush you feel when you meet someone and you just know you like them. That head-over-heels feeling for a new love, a new dream. See the hearts framing the eyes?  That’s my vision of desire taking over, consuming you.  Bold? Yes. Intense? Absolutely.  This is passion made visible.  Red isn’t just romance; it’s the raw, fervent desire driving my creative ambition.  And with every brushstroke, I capture that fire, showing how passion, in any form, is utterly captivating. Black hearts. This represent conflict, the blackened heart represents Struggle. Love’s addictive, yeah, but here’s the real truth: that same love can stress you out proper.  Crazy, right? yes, but no, not really. Because love, in any form, isn’t always a fairy tale.  Once that initial passion hits, the real journey begins. Following my passion has been a wild ride.  Like in any real love story, there is the good, the bad, the ugly – all mushed up together shaken and stirred like the cocktails we’re excited to have tonight before we proceed to have our partners, isn’t that right ladies? And yes, the hurdles are constant. Conflicts and  internal battles are all part of the process, whether it’s in a relationship or chasing your artistic goals.  Thriving means facing it all, head-on. With Vim! Black is the raw unfiltered truth, the battles that hit hard when you commit to loving someone, when you commit to your passions and dreams. Still, I cant help but realize the stark beauty of these two opposite ideas, red and black especially when I put them together, side by-side in this Instagram grid. That’s life, you know? Passion and struggle are two sides of the same coin. A juxtaposition, if you will... one that can be recognised in romance, in art, in everything real! The truth, for me, is often revealed at the end of my brushstrokes. Im not just applying make-up, I’m painting raw emotion, real experiences, desires and struggles. They’re etched into our journeys and it is my job to tell the stories with my brush and my colours, and I LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT. Happy valentine’s!
