This project was a journey—both for Shatti, who worked through her emotions by making music, and for me as a filmmaker. With mostly just one pair of hands (🙋♂️), I handled the camera, lighting, editing, and direction to bring this story to life.
I’m proud of what we created. But I’ve grown since then ('21/'22), and looking back, I’d do things differently now. That’s the beauty of creativity, it’s a constant process of learning and evolving.
Self-expression doesn’t come easy for me. But every post, every project, is a step forward. Excited for 2025!

A few years back, Sidney Shane reached out to me to film an acoustic LIVE performance for his new project, ‘Kwetsbaar’.
Alongside guitarist Randy van Doornum, keyboardist Pieter Beugelink, and a soulful saxophonist Anthony Lubbers, we dove into the incredible LilHeaven Studios to capture this gem.
What made it pop? The lighting. We played with three different light/color schemes to match the mood of each track. Simple tweaks, but what a difference they made! ✨
