His signature style, twisted beeps, energetic glitches and razor-sharp mechanics, takes centre stage on Sign, a vinyl journey built for the peak hours. Each track is packed with calculated machine funk, emphatic drums and a relentless bassline drive. Lucas’ rising reputation across Europe stems from his electrifying live sets, where he seamlessly shifts between electro, techno and house. Our label returns as tHE GANG RECORDS, staying true to the raw spirit of our events with a Various Artists format that channels the collective energy of the gang. VA01 features tracks by tINI, MAN/IPULATE & BELIC, LUCAS, and JOOLMAD. tINI opens with ‘Port’, originally made for Odessa’s Port club and played there once, just before the war. With its old-school acid feel, it’s the only digital track on the EP. All proceeds go to support the venue. ‘Polizisten’ by MAN/IPULATE & BELIC is a hypnotic, percussive cut with a haunting vocal. Lucas follows with the live-performed ‘Subconsequent’, a groovy builder with cheeky energy. Joolmad closes with ‘Naughtyness’, a driving floor tool first heard in tINI’s 7-hour After Caposile set. Lucas Lucas is a Brazilian musical creative based in Lisbon, whose sound seamlessly blends techno, house, acid, funk, and soul into expressive, genre-fluid compositions. Fully dedicated to live performance, each set unfolds as a unique, hand-crafted journey, bringing his productions vividly to life on stage. He made his debut at Berlin’s Club der Visionaere, where he introduced an intuitive and refined artistic voice shaped by years of deep exploration of sound. With previous releases on Mindhelmet and Angatu, and a debut solo EP forthcoming via Partisan, Lucas continues to carve a path rooted in authenticity and sonic experimentation.
