Masonry details as seen from inside and out at our recently completed project on Capitol Street. The design references the materiality and proportion of the existing urban fabric and adds interest through texture and relief.
Thanks to the masons and the team who executed the job with such care and made the vision come to life.
We’re fortunate to work on many historic homes in Philadelphia, including this beauty in Rittenhouse Square. It’s such a privilege to work in this context; I am constantly in awe of how these structures endure. Behind superficial finishes of different eras and owners, the bones are still there…
We converted part of the third floor of our Mt. Airy project into an awesome playroom and kids zone. To add character to the spaces we played with the ceiling plane. We added a large skylight to create a reading nook and raised the ceiling height to expose existing collar ties, adding up lighting in between.
The timeless and beautiful kitchen at our recently completed Mt. Airy renovation. We made every inch work for our clients in this space (note the toe kick storage!), and we love how it turned out. 😊
Excited to see our Capitol Street project completed and looking beautiful even on such a gray day. The facade of these homes references the materiality and proportion of the existing urban fabric while adding interest through masonry detail, relief, and repetition.
