Devotion and intimacy comes from the place of love. When we forget how deeply Christ loves us, it becomes harder to trust Him, and obedience can start to feel like a struggle.
Obedience, devotion, and intimacy are meant to flow from love. When you’re truly in love, these things don’t feel forced, they come naturally. But when that love feels forced, it can begin to feel like a burden instead of something genuine.
The truth is, the more you experience and remember God’s love for you, the easier it becomes to love Him back. And when that love is real, trust comes easier, obedience feels lighter, and your relationship with Him grows deeper.

A songwriter and worshipper once said, “When I know You, I’ll find me.” For the longest time, I wondered what that phrase truly meant. One day, it finally clicked. The meaning itself wasn’t new, but I began to see it in a completely new light.
“When I know You, I’ll find me.” Outside Christ, I am nothing. My will, my plans, my ambitions, my future everything amounts to nothing without Him. Living life without Christ reduces all my efforts to zero. So, who am I, truly, without Christ?
As believers, the deeper we seek God, the clearer our purpose in Him becomes. Knowing Christ is the foundation of discovering your identity and purpose in life.
At one point, I thought I would become a medical doctor, saving lives. But God had a different plan for me. Whenever I tell people that I was a science student who switched to the arts in my SS2 second term, they always ask, “Why?”
Even though I was quite young, I knew that path was not what God had called me to. My intimacy with God wasn’t as strong as it is now, but I still sought Him and He made it clear where He wanted me to be.
This taught me something powerful: to find your purpose, you need to know just one person and that person is Christ. That’s why I can’t be less, there is a reason for my creation.✨❤️
