✨ Léo Gras is the curated resident from Strasbourg for the cross-border artistic residency format "Labor à trois".
During the residency, Gras will work on the following project: coeur doux
coeur doux is a hybrid performance combining dance, puppetry, and voice for two performers.
In this piece, Léo Gras, working together with Elisa Rouchon & Aria De La Celle, responds to the trauma of rape, exploring the fragmentation of the body and the destruction of identity. The work stages the artist’s attempt to “glue the scattered pieces” of a broken self back together, while also denouncing mechanisms of domination and the “cancer” of abuse of power within the dance world.
On stage, a puppet — a faithful double of the artist — becomes the partner in this necessary process of reconstruction. 🗓️ The fourth edition of Labor à trois takes place from June 15–28, 2026 at SÜDUFER Freiburg, with a public showing on June 26 at 2:30 PM.
