this bb zine I made is a stream of consciousness, surrendering to the flow of words that come, the colors my hands gravitate towards and the way they take form on paper.
using my oil pastels from the 3rd grade and recording it with the swimming pool I learned how to swim in as the background. the colors and streams of my childhood reflect the unreliability of memory. when memories intertwine with dreams, I’m left with clouds of blur.
after almost a decade of voicing our intentions to mix her music with my poetry/voice over, @_lapis_______ and i finally took this bb step to merge the two. thank you @_lapis_______ for the dreamy sound design 🌧️
