Wie denkt aan folkmuziek met pit, groove en lef, denkt aan Kwartet Gestrikt. De vier brengen krachtige folk gedreven door doedelzak, accordeon, klarinet, gitaar en trompet. Geen middeleeuwse nostalgie, maar een zinderend dansfeest geworteld in de Belgische en Europese folktradities. Na optredens op onder andere het Boombalfestival en de Gentse Feesten blijft het kwartet het publiek verrassen met gedurfde arrangementen en speelse interactie.

Always a pleasure to play here
We wanted to try something new so we improvised a more relaxed set with some dubby sounds, constructed to listen in the sun :). The result? A spontaneous set that, besides the mistakes here and there, we're happy with! It's now watchable on YouTube, soundcloud, mixcloud! Give it a listen! (setlist in last slide)
