love this transition from my playgrnd set last saturday! A great reminder to myself that a set doesn’t have to be fast tempo the entire time. Especially at the end of the night, people love to sing along 😍

For over two decades, Curren$y has been more than just an artist to me—he’s been a guiding force. A mentor through music. From his early days at No Limit Records, to that raw freestyle video of him walking down a block, to being the first signee of Lil Wayne’s Young Money, and later Fly Society—his journey wasn’t just a soundtrack to my life, it was a blueprint.
His laid-back flow and introspective lyrics taught me the value of staying in my own lane, perfecting my craft, and blocking out the noise. His music became my daily affirmation to keep going—no matter what obstacles came my way.
I still remember his first show in Toronto at the Opera House. I was hyped to finally see him perform live. But due to a mix-up, I was wrongly escorted out of the venue. Still trying to process what had happened, Instead of letting it break me, I used it as jet fuel.
Fast forward to today, and I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Spitta. This collaboration isn’t just a career milestone—it’s the realization of a dream I’ve carried since the start of my videography journey. Watching it come to life is a powerful reminder of what belief and consistency can do.
It’s been over a decade since Curren$y last touched down in Toronto, and his return was nothing short of legendary. The energy at the Phoenix Concert Theatre was electric. Being part of it with him and the 747 Band made it all feel full-circle. It reminded me that when you stay true to your path, the universe will align to meet you there.
And this is just the beginning. The lessons, the inspiration, the momentum—it’s all fuel for what’s next. Here’s to more moments like this. More growth. More reasons to remember why we started.
Big ups to @jd_era & @roadmanproductions for making this happen 🙏🏾
