I’ve never actually done an introductory post and felt like it was time 🌱 Photography started as a creative outlet and turned into something I genuinely love. Over the last couple of years, I’ve been exploring the outdoors and capturing the moments that make me pause — whether it’s a peaceful trail, a misty view, or a charming old town. I capture still moments in nature, travel and everything outdoors. Anything that catches my eye when I’m out and about, this space is where I share that work. For those that already follow me, thank you for being here. For those that are new here, welcome to my corner of world. Let me know which one is your favourite 🌿📸

Had my first @campwild.uk Community campout experience this weekend — and it was easily the wildest and most meaniful camp I’ve done yet 🌿 The first day started with setting up our tents across the beck, moving onto conservation activities such as natural dam building and checking on young trees. Then an evening of fireside cooking, camp chats and connection with nature and new people — the weekend was full of learning, laughter and connection. This morning was a hot one so we wrapped it up with a cold dip in the river. A quality weekend with some great people 💚🦫

February has always been the hardest month for me. It’s the time of year where my battery always feels completely drained. For years I didn’t understand why, I just thought I wasn’t trying hard enough to keep at the goals I’d set myself at New Year. A few years ago I started learning about seasonal alignment and that’s when everything clicked. For some reason growing up we were taught to hit January at full speed with new goals, new habits, and high energy to see them through. But by February daylight is still low, vitamin D is depleted and motivation can feel at an all time low. The last few days I’ve felt exhausted. Daily naps have been a thing. I’ve felt anxious and a little disconnected. Just running on a low battery. I used to fight it and get frustrated with myself, trying to continue at the same pace and ending up burned out. Until I started to understand seasonal alignment properly. Our ancestors would have anchored down in this period, just like the rest of nature over winter. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but looking at it this way has helped me be easier on myself and to see it as preservation. The final stretch of winter and permission to slow down + recharge when needed. I love winter for what it is. I guess this is just a reminder that if you feel like this too, it’s normal and okay. Lighter days are on their way ✨

Just a few pics from my trips across Wales, or Cymru for the Welsh natives, that reminded me how beautiful it truly is 🌿 Perfect moments, but no photo’s can ever do the real places justice. 📍 Newborough National Nature Reserve and Forest 📍 Monmouth / Secret Valley (@campwild.uk spot) 📍 Portmeirion 📍 St. Dyfnog’s Well 📍 Conwy Falls / Rhaeadr y Graig Lwyd 📍 Pen y Fan 📍 Hafren Forest 📍 National Trust - Llynnau Cregennen / Cregennan Lakes *Please visit these areas respectfully, as some have very limited parking or can get very busy

A bit of winter mountain goodness from the Lake District 🏔️ I don’t get out into the mountains as much as I’d love to, but when I do get chance, there’s no better feeling than being in the middle of no where with no one in sight and views like this

A few from my favourite hill in Cheshire 🌅 Was really hoping for some good frosty mornings and inversions this year but all we’ve had is the longest spell of rain since 1908. Winter isn’t out yet so here’s to hoping! 📍The Cloud / Bosley Cloud

Winter pines community campout with @campwild.uk 🌲 24 hours of outdoor fun with the best bunch of people you could ask for. This is my third campout and each one has its own unique sense of community & wholesomeness. Every time I go, I meet new people who inspire me and make genuine connections that will continue into the future. If you haven’t been on one yet, what are you waiting for? Until next time ✨ #campwild #outdoors #adventure
