A day in the Inner Palace with Jinshi-sama, Lihua-sama and Maomao! Presenting the first images of our epic Apothecary Diaries cosplay photoshoot in Japan with @fxdandy ! Each costume was made by the cosplayer: Lihua - @_kcoz Jinshi - @reika_japan_ Maomao - @yayahan I love that we matched the Garden Party episode perfectly with our outfits! It’s also significant to mention that all three cosplayers are veterans in the industry with well over 20 years of cosplaying experience. It was incredibly easy to pose and play off of each other, even though we had never done a proper cosplay shoot together! One of us would throw out an idea and the others would just snap to the perfect accompanying pose or reaction! By the end it was a lot of bullying Jinshi-sama 😂 Reika-san did a lot of the planning with the gorgeous location, K-san organized a rental car for us to transport everything easier, and I roped in @fxdandy who is very experienced with group photoshoots and just one of the best cosplay photographers, period! I’m also posting a photo carousel of @fxdandy ’s beautiful images! Random fact but years ago I did an Assassin’s Creed: China cosplay shoot at this same temple! It was as a part of a cosplay day and we also had to sign up ahead of time and pay a special price for the visit. Do not show up in full cosplay to temples, parks and other public sights in Japan without prior authorization and research! For this shoot, our backup was a cosplay studio of which there are many in Tokyo, Osaka and other major cities. Thankfully, they had an opening on the weekend we chose and we were even awarded with the sunniest day in like 2 weeks!

皆さん、こんにちは！Here’s my next Cosplay Project!! 2026 is the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, so I wanted to work on a new Pokémon cosplay, and this time from a classic game - Erika, Celadon Gym Leader! 💚🌿💚 For this project I am up-cycling and repurposing a secondhand Furisode Kimono and some Japanese fabrics, Hakama, and parts from my Kyudo uniform to bring this all together! Will be buying some materials and parts to bring it all together, but I’m excited to be incorporating and giving another life for this beautiful secondhand Kimono! 👘 #cosplay #pokemon #upcycle #recycle
