About a year ago, I lost all of my equipment. Now, I’m back with a new setup to do what I enjoy most: playing live techno. I’m so excited to play my debut this Friday at @bunkerulmenwall . From now on, I am open for bookings with this new live set.
For the promoters & gear nerds:
The setup is super compact and fits in any DJ booth. It features a Digitone 2 and my modular case, all sequenced by the Oxi One. Sound is coming out of the Digitone without additional processing.

Last Saturday I played the opening at Tresor West and it was a lot of fun to return to this amazing space.
I played a hybrid set combining my modular synth and deep hypnotic grooves from 120-136bpm.

Ich hatte viel Spaß am Samstag das Closing auf der Manege Stage zu spielen und eine kleine Lichtinstallation aufzubauen. Insgesamt waren es großartige Tage mit tollen Menschen und einem super Team. Es freut mich sehr, dass so etwas in unserer Region entsteht.
Had a lot of fun playing in Trier last weekend. Thanks to the crew and everyone who came by for the great energy, it was super nice. Big love @wearesnrs

kapnos kommt zum flimmertal festival 2025 – und bringt euch hypnotische techno-vibes, trippige texturen und ordentlich wumms für die beine mit. 🌀💥
als mitgründer von not @notexist_e.v mischt er die bielefelder subkultur schon länger auf – mit liebe zum sounddesign und einem gespür für sets, die man nicht nur hört, sondern richtig spürt. körperlich. emotional. vielleicht sogar spirituell? wer weiß das schon.
früher live, heute an den decks – das liegt weniger am willen, sondern daran, dass ihm mal das ganze equipment geklaut wurde (richtig bitter). aber hey: neues live-projekt ist in planung – bis dahin gibt’s erst mal kapnos in bestform am pult 🫰

we’re happy to welcome Bielefeld based dj & producer kapnos to the beton broadcast.
Ever since first experimenting with electronic sounds at the age of 16 and playing his first gig at 19, Kapnos made it his mission to create a groovy, trippie and funky vibe with his sound whilst also maintaining a strongly bass driven rhythm.
Kapnos began organizing events as part of the „not exist“ collective, debuting his first live set alongside crewmate Kuuse. He’s now a resident at „Himmel & Erde“ at Forum Bielefeld. As a producer, he released his first tracks in 2023, including one on Berlin label bcco. In 2024, he introduced his new solo live set featuring the Korg EMX1. Beyond techno, Kapnos draws from a range of influences—House, UKG, and Bass Music—which he explores through his party series „Pleasuretech“ at Cutie Bielefeld.

Because I lost all of my gear, including 80% of my music, I decided it’s time for a new start. In the past, I explored many different genres and constantly experimented with my sound, creating a wide range of styles. However, the phase of experimenting has come to an end. Now, I’m focusing on one musical direction: deep, atmospheric techno, always with a driving energy, some for the dancefloor and some just for listening.
