Today being World Theatre Day, it's only right that I celebrate being a two time stage play director. ๐ฅน
Being a creative led me to writing, which eventually led me to playwrighting and after being one of the finalists of the JEHF 2022 Playwrighting Competition, I decided to write and direct my first stage play - "Therapy: Love's Unexpected Path" in 2023 and my second stage play - "แปgbร " in 2025.
I am extremely grateful to the cast and crew I had in both projects, who made my dream come true, who made my characters come to life and to the ones who sponsored my dreams, I say the biggest of thanks. โค๏ธ๐

Three weeks ago today, I got inaugurated as the Vice President of the University of Ibadan Medical Students' Association @ibadanmedicine . ๐ฅบ๐
Contesting for this role wasn't the easiest, it took a lot of consideration. I had to think deeply about why I was qualified to do the job or why everyone I told believed in me or had an inkling that I would contest for it (pretty typical of my school political journey so far.๐)
Why I chose the cover song: Two years prior, I stayed behind the scenes (after one of the most horrible experiences being at the forefront) and did my work, riding solo and ignoring all the side comments. Somehow, everyone saw my work rate and began to appreciate what I could do. So, it's pretty befitting.
Progress report: Had a vendor mishap and well, quelling people's fears. It's still eight months to go and some and I'm super duper excited.๐คญ This team includes some of the greatest minds UIMSA has and that's why we call ourselves, "The Magic Makers ๐ช"
Ladies and gentlemen, you can now call me, Madam Vice President. ๐๐ฅฐ
Did my white coat ceremony today. ๐๐ฅ Happy to be taking this next step in my medical school journey. ๐ง๐พโโ๏ธโจ Clinical school, here I come. ๐

2023 has to come to an end! ๐ฅบ I went through so much this year and somehow it has shaped me into an even better woman. I'm grateful for the opportunities 2023 brought my way, the amazing people, the experiences, the laughter, the food, the new terrains, even the tears too. ๐ค
