JUNCTION416 continues its ongoing monthly music series in May with Junction local roots rocker Blake Preston. Blake Preston is a rock n roll troubadour, a classic rustic, whip smart extravert in the grand traditions of rock past and to come. His music is full of Canadian rock n roll with choruses full of the kind of big guitars that always get your fist pumping. Also on the bill are SINGLES performing chart hits from the 80s, 90s, and 00s, and When We Was Young. The event takes place on Saturday May 9 at Junction Underground and advance tickets are now available on Eventbrite.

welcomes CAKE tribute act Four Letter Word TONIGHT at Junction Underground. John McCrea emerged the band Cake out from the Sacramento coffeehouse circuit in the 90s and used sardonic humor and Motown bass grooves to reincarnate disco’s sensational I Will Survive and other favs like The Distance.
Coheadlining the bill tonight is NO SUNSHINE COLLECTIVE and we celebrate the release of their new single “Ontario” engineered and mixed by Keegan Porter. The band is compromised of brothers Steve and Nathan Colucci and backed by Matt Bellissimo on drums. A power punk trio ready to play their hearts out tonight.
Other support acts include: Lucid Smog Disorder and The Mollies.

Happy March Break!
JUNCTION416 continues its ongoing monthly music series in The Junction with Toronto’s own No Sunshine Collective. The Toronto three-piece has thrived on taking the primordial sounds of punk, pop, and rock and fashioning them into something both dissonant and accessible. This ethos is also reflected in the band’s live show, channeling the tumultuous energy of The Pixies and Metz with loving nods to the hook-driven musicality of Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, on which they were raised. Coheadlining the event is CAKE tribute act - @fourletterword_cake with additional support from The Mollies and Lucid Smog Disorder. The event takes place on Saturday March 14 at Junction Underground and advance tickets are now available on Eventbrite.
