As our season has concluded, I learned many things working for the San Rafael Pacifics. I gained more self-confidence and proved I could work at a high capacity, wearing different hats. My experiences working in entertainment, hospitality, and education helped me immensely, and I could put what I learned from those industries into action. We set record numbers in fan attendance, increased ceremonial first pitches, highlighted themed night events, introduced new food and beverage vendors, executed new brand partnerships, and created outstanding relationships through community engagement.
I have proven to be a valuable asset to any organization. I bring knowledge and experience from challenging learning experiences. Many say they are passionate about sports, but I genuinely love them. I have played them since childhood and am now working behind the scenes.
I constantly doubted myself throughout my career, but landing this assistant general manager position allowed me to showcase my talents and highlight my well-roundedness. While applying for jobs in this sports industry, I often compete against one-dimensional people. This is just the nature of the game. I am not a boxed-in person, and I am proud of that. Whatever comes next, I want the opportunity to be my true self and love the work I am doing.
I want to thank my general manager, @soren.realtor for having faith in me and letting me do what I do best. Our staff and interns also held it down all season, from the PA booth to the ticketing gates; they worked hard to ensure everything ran smoothly every home game. Lastly, a major shout out to Kit Holsten for asking me to be the assistant general manager for this outstanding professional organization and for allowing me to learn while working.

WEEK TEN! The final weekend of regular season action begins tonight, and our last themed night of the 2024 season is extraordinary. We have partnered with To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation to raise awareness and fund breast cancer research. To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation conducts incredible work around the Bay Area, providing services and support for underserved breast cancer patients. WEEK NINE! We have the last elected official in Marin County, Mayor Urban Carmel, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch tonight, representing the City of Mill Valley. Before coming to the San Rafael Pacifics, they had never organized ceremonial first pitches, so making this one of the goals this season worked out great. It was incredible to see all city and town participation within the county. I am thrilled about our Little League Baseball and Softball Night tomorrow; all teams and leagues within the county have responded. Junior Giants Marin City Ambassador Truth Doyle will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, and she continues to do great things in the community, spreading knowledge about baseball and delivering positivity. WEEK EIGHT! I am very honored to coordinate and host a Canal Alliance Night for this week's themed night. Canal Alliance is vital in Marin County in providing services and support for immigrants and the Latine community. My goal was to bridge the gap between the San Rafael Pacifics Baseball Club and the Latine community, and with the help of Canal Alliance, we could come together as a unit and make this happen. I am incredibly excited about tonight's game, and I look forward to this being a significant success for the Pacifics organization and Marin County. WEEK SEVEN! Happy 4th of July! What's a better way to start the holiday weekend than attending an affordable baseball game with family and friends, enjoying the sunshine, buying a hot dog, and washing it down with a cold beverage?! Nothing! We have a tremendous ceremonial first pitch lineup with Marin County elected officials this week, and the weather is 90 degrees plus. WEEK SIX! The team is in first place in the Pacific division with 20 wins. There is a lot of baseball to be played, and the hunt for a championship repeat continues. It is a fun-filled weekend with Firefighters Night tonight, which will showcase two fire engines at Albert Park, and our Pride Night, which will celebrate the last Saturday of Pride Month.
