Ten… shoot, not even five years ago-would I ever imagine to be in a position in life to have a place Teena and I could go to escape and call our own. (At least for the next 50 years 😂)
We don’t buy expensive clothes or material things (besides parts for our vehicles 😅) but we WORK HARD to reward ourselves with opportunities like this. From the moment we stayed here for our honeymoon we knew that THIS is where we want to be when we go to vacation.
We are blessed with the support our family gives us and we wanted to make sure they could enjoy it with us all together at least once. Although we were missing a few of my siblings, I hope one day they get to experience it as well.
From the beautiful location to the amazing staff whom we always look forward to seeing, Puerto Vallarta is truly our second home and we cant wait to go back! ¡Hasta la próxima @garzablancapreserve !

Shoutout to the homie @itsjustcom3dy for pulling me out to take @tslidah ‘s class at @lgndsstudios the other week! Had a fun time testing to see if my pickup, cardio and mental fitness was enough to keep up still 😅😂. Taking class definitely made me miss it. Crazy to look back and imagine that this was a whole other life for me for so many years! Who knows, maybe I’ll take another one again soon 😉.

I ran across a post on social media about another runner’s perspective of why they love to run which led me ask myself, “Why do I like to run?”.
Running is truly a humbling and demanding physical activity. You earn every bit of success and every bit of failure (sometimes) each time you run. How well you perform or do well is based off of how disciplined and committed you are to yourself to getting better every time. Your eating habits, your sleep schedule, your preparation before a run and how you recover after contribute to how well you do on your next one.
I feel that every time I run it’s a battle between my mind and body while also trying to find harmony so they don’t work against each other. I may not have done the full 8 miles that I wanted to do tonight but I’m even more determined to fully recover and get back at it later this week. Who knows, maybe I might try again tomorrow. We’ll see…
