Re-upping this memory of America - one of my faves - made in a small town in Colorado, called Walsenberg. It reminds me of hearing Thomas Wolfe's 1930's being described as the american landscape captured from a moving train, and Kerouac's - in the 50's - being the same landscape, but captured from the window of a moving car. America, you're complicated, but endlessly fascinating through a lens.
