I followed Katharina as she set the new female record at the @tordesgeants , training and rehabbing from injury at her home in Zurich, and at her first race post-knee surgery at @hardrock100run . Iām continually inspired by her grit, determination, and her ability to just keep moving when things seem impossible. Iām super grateful to Ethan and Katharina for inviting me to be a part of telling this story. You can watch the film now on the TheGingerRunner Youtube channel.

STOKEMAN - A short surf film about the joy of creative expression

Iām stoked to finally share a personal project Iāve been working on for the past year with my good friend @_simongera_ . Since the first time I watched Simone surf I knew there was something about the way he expressed himself in the water that I wanted to share. His joy is infectious. I canāt help but smile and laugh and hoot and holler when we spend time in the water together. STOKEMAN is an invitation to express yourself and to lean into things that bring you joy. As Simo always says, surf isnāt about how it looks, itās all about how it feels.

Ive been really enjoying shooting film again the past few months. I love the patience and decisiveness that pressing shutter asks of you. Also the anticipation and delayed gratification when you are waiting to hear back from the lab. Itās a quite joyful andā¦ expensive process. Here are a few frames that I quite like.
