New Reel… 👻
This was a long time coming. It’s been three (maybe four?) years since the last one. There has been so much to look back on, and then forward to when I see what I still want to capture, create, and grow. Mostly this made me miss a lot of friends, collaborators and very special projects I am incredibly blessed to have been able to work on.
I dunno man. If you played a part on any of these I love you, and probably think about you and the help you have been to me a lot. And thank you to the people that dealt with my constant revisions and asking for feedback on this haha.
Anyways can’t wait for whatever’s next. Let’s make something please.
A year ago to the date, I was sitting in a recording studio in Atlanta filming performances and interviewing a band I never imagined I’d be lucky enough to meet. Time flies but I definitely hold onto this memory and don’t take it for granted.
I can’t thank Grouplove enough for letting us in and giving us that time - and especially the performances. Being surrounded by them in that small space while they went all out every take was incredible to say the least.
Still love looking back at what myself, @jay_hawley and @sterlingsims10k pulled off together for @johnnyearthquake and @songkick . Absolutely would not have changed any of it for the world.
A lot of people showed some love to this little clip when I posted the story. All the way back in 2018: an unplugged performance by Punch Brothers at the Ryman. Two takes between sound check and them opening the doors.
Seven years ago may as well be a lifetime and I don’t have the callsheet anymore: Tagging who I can at least remember playing a part.
IDLES. The most fun to date and an honor to force people to listen to Dancer for 8 hours on repeat. A few favorite moments and BTS.

Wishing I could’ve made it to the pop-up. Very proud of what we accomplished in what was the first of many to come. Cant wait to share the bts of our insane helmet setup.
