JETSET
Jetset named a wishful thinking of the perfect rave night out and is also the b2b alias of Templeton and catjes, both dj's and producers based in leipzig.
Since 2004 Templeton was not only part of the techno scene in leipzig but he also played an active role in it. He gained a lot of experience and created his own, unique sound, one can hear his passion for electronica as well as a hard driving and hypnotic industrial sound.
catjes is just another name for techno. Her music is always straight forward but she has the rare ability to infuse goosebumps moments into this hard, industrial sound, also she loves it, to surprise with an unexpected beat and one can feel that she was a hip hop dancer her teenie years.
Both thought, this would fit perfectly together; the same idea of a perfect rave and the slightly extraordinary taste of techno music.
JETSET – will sich verstanden wissen als gemeinsames Performance-Konzept von @catjes.le und @hypress_templeton . Diesmal eingerahmt von der Lesung von KGNNS, markiert gewissermaßen den Sommerabschluss im Quarzlampenkombinat, mit einer extra langen hitzigen Musiknacht und wofür jeder ganz besondere Fundstücke für den 29.08. in der Quala herausgesucht hat.

@catjes.le liebt es, ihre Zuhörer herauszufordern. Sie schafft es gekonnt dem roughen, industriellen Technosound Gänsehautmomente zu verpassen und immer wieder genreübergreifend mit neuen Beats zu überraschen. Ihre Sets sind voller Power und lassen selbst den größten Tanzmuffel nicht still sitzen.
Während @hypress_templeton Sound für kraftvollen, dichten und hypnotischen Techno steht, erwartet einen bei Gabriele Storm eine Mischung aus dem Glamourkitsch der 80er und 90er, einem Hauch Discopunk und treibendem EBM.
Genauso wie catjes macht er sich nichts aus Genregrenzen. Zusammen ergibt das einen spannenden Mix, der begeistert und einem keine Atempause gönnt.
