Had a fun opportunity to put in Bread and Butter this year in the cat! It was a fun process of track packing the snow in place, farming snow to cover up the massive rocks and stumps and windrowing the top of the run to collect as much drifting snow as possible. Two nights ago I gave it one final grade, to give ample time for the snow to set up in place and last night I gave it its first till! All in took ~40 hours to get it shaped up for opening.
This was the first time I’ve gotten to build a run from start to finish in a winch! Had to use all my skills I’ve learned over the years in a cat. Classically didn’t take nearly enough pictures to document what I did but was stoked to share this!
