A year ago, I reached out to
@redwingheritage with an idea: to create a custom surfboard as a tribute to their quality and craftsmanship.
I shared my vision, the shape and the story behind it.
From the drawing board to the final touches, the path for this board slowly took shape.
Through years of surfing and traveling in France, I crossed paths with
@paulduvignau a shaper and surfer from Hossegor.
His style, values, and approach to life are what turned our connection into a friendship.
When I asked if he’d be interested in shaping this board and explained the full concept, he immediately said yes.
Beyond stoked to work together, we laid the drawings on the table.
The design leans into vintage lines and earthy tones, a homage to the colors and heritage RedWing brings to their boots.
I had the honor to be fully involved throughout the shaping process, witnessing and feeling every step.
The final result is a true blend of our shared experiences and ideas, and I couldn’t be more excited about it.
The board will first be displayed in one of the Redwing flagship stores.
Proud to have poured my passion into this project and beyond ready to get this board in the water.
Huge thanks to
@redwingheritage for trusting me with this project, and to
@paulduvignau for the friendship and collaboration
A board made by, and for good people ❤️🔥
