i spent this year learning the difference between carrying a big heart & actually using it. letting it crack open. letting it stretch beyond comfort. letting it love with intention instead of fear. i learned that growth doesn’t come from staying safe, it comes from staying open. and how i have to constantly remind myself to let aches shape me instead of hardening me.
i made my love more honest. more discerning. more alive.
and i’m proud of myself for not turning away.
