Worth the 14km walk to and from the motel with @christopher_tovo in 35c heat to get the previous photo.
I remember my first trip to LA as an adult in 2014. We (@kimmennen ) and I got duped (no regrets!) into hiring a convertible Mustang. It was a 6 cylinder and had no space for our luggage in the trunk, so it all ended up in the back seat. We arrived too early to check in to our motel in East Hollywood. The owner of the @hollywooddowntowner told us to take a drive up to the Griffith Observatory just around the corner and the room would be ready when we returned. Griffith Observatory holds a fond memory, it was my first fun adventure in LA and it really has a great lookout of both the Hollywood sign and how big greater Los Angles is. Plus there are squirrels in Griffiths Park below!
