My favorite art partner and myself created another piece inspired by the great Spike Lee’s acclaimed film “School Daze”. As young black women we were drawn to the scene where Jane and Rachel face off over societal tensions of colorism in the black community. Today we present to you “Straight Nappy” ! The juxtaposition of the political lyrics and the yin and yang symbol remind us of how both ends of the spectrum and every shade in between are needed to represent black and brown women as a whole! In other words.. order your pin while supplies last! 😅😊

Another one of my favorite pieces from the @cle_collabs . I created this amazing piece with my art partner @khalilrspencer 👁♊️ The idea behind this piece just kept giving me more and more inspiration. i learned alot from my partner during our art sessions , especially shading with paint , it’s so much fun . I also got to spray paint for the first time and almost fell in love with it 🥰 Can’t wait to make more art with you !!

I absolutely love this piece with all my heart , it’s not only something with both love , Pokémon, but we both were able to incorporate our styles of art to make a beautiful piece.
