Melbourne's Black and African Diaspora communities showed up and showed out for a special Community Night at the theatre experience proudly brought to you by @safespacemedia.au , @nguvu_moja_theatre@roseeffectau , @_itseffie and @polapractice ! We walked the red carpet, celebrated Michael Jackson’s story surrounded by community, and stayed to connect with the cast in ways that reminded us why representation matters. For some, it was their first time ever experiencing live theatre. For others, it was the first time theatre felt like it was truly FOR them. That difference matters. That shift changes everything.
