I should have done this last year, or early this year after being reminded šŸ™ˆ, but the years rolled into one another for me. Nevertheless, better late than never. It’s been an exciting two years, and I’m finally getting to catch my breath a bit, soā€¦šŸ„šŸ„šŸ„ Here are some of the brand development projects I worked on over the period, a breakdown of some, along with short stories…and my face, cause I hear you’ve missed me šŸ˜… Slide 1: Monochrome Logos Slide 2: Coloured Logos Slide 3: HBA Logo Teardown @adiilolade is, hands down, one of my favorite clients! It’s been amazing working with her over the last couple of years. I’m excited about the projects going live next year. #ProductLaunch Slide 4: SKLD Logo Teardown Definitely a landmark project for the Base XII Team (@base_xii ) and I. I got to meet and work with a number of amazing and interesting people. Slide 5: The funny thing is, I typically don’t get to see (in-person) the finished product of my designs that go to print. #hermitlifestyle I’d tell you for free, seeing it in person hits different. Slide 6&7: Some of the amazing people I got to work with in the last two years (I still work with some šŸ˜‚). Thank you for having my back, being the plug, making magic with me, and just being there. Looking forward to bigger and better. šŸ’ŖšŸ½ Slide 8: Had to save the best for last. Sometimes I think about my growth and journey, character and skill development, the people I’ve met, relationships built, lessons learnt and opportunities I’ve had access to, amongst a plethora of others, that can be directly traced to The Osunmakinde’s. I am immensely grateful for your impact directly and indirectly in my life. It’s always an honour to serve. šŸ™šŸ½ #branding #branddevelopment #branddesign #yearinreview #logodesigner #naijadesigners #numberscodepixels

Slide 1: Monochrome Logos Slide 2: Coloured Logos Slide 3: Future Forward Female Logo Teardown. This was one of those one hit, or silver bullet projects. I’d toyed with a number of ideas but once this one came up, I knew that the work was done. It’s simple and meaningful. I’d share pictures of my sketchbook one of these days… Slide 4: Babes Redefined Logo Teardown. One of the #LessIsMore brand designs. This was the beginning of logo presentation decks. Interesting thing is it was a ā€œfun projectā€, not one of those suit-and-tie type projects where you’d need to package your samples. I was mostly having fun, and et voila, logo presentation decks (the ones I make) were born. Slide 5: Speaking about fun, I still make music…not as much as I’d love to, but at least something to keep the music alive. Slide 6: I’m grateful for @_temi_h / @longstrell_ds for actively creating opportunities for the art and culture community in IB, and giving The Other Guys a platform. Slide 7: About fun and platforms, one of the things I hope to go back to in the coming year is actively teaching/tutoring - and not for completely altruistic reasons šŸ™ˆ. I’m grateful for the critical part the @powerpointtribe / @damioguntunde has played in ensuring I didn’t chicken out of this completely in the last two years - cause I did chicken out of some šŸ” Slide 8: For those who have only seen me with caps/head warmers, and may be wondering if the lights were playing a trick on them in Slide 6, This Is Me! The story behind the hair, is for another day. This event (along with the people I met here) is one I’d not soon forget, #ayomideji21 #branddesign #branddesigner #logodesign #yearinreview #naijadesigners #numberscodepixels #musician #livemusic

Slide 1: Monochrome Logos Slide 2: Coloured Logos Slide 3: MarkWillows Logo Teardown. This was an interesting project for a dear pastor, and although it took longer than it should, the end result was worth the wait. Funny story, for the first time ever, all logo samples in the presentation deck were used 🤯. This particular sample was repurposed for the parent company… Slide 4: Harde Logo Teardown. In contrast to the one before it, the initial samples of the Harde logo were designed within 72hours from receiving the request…from another dear pastor šŸ˜… #ChurchBoy. I was inbetween cities at the time, and ideation started while on the road. This project gave me a nickname I hope to live up to some day…IYKYK Slide 5: Bonus - Natural Hair Hub Logo. It’s a bonus because it was a late 2019 project, and ideally shouldn’t be here. I’d submitted a number of samples prior to this one that didn’t quite stick, before I had the eureka moment; give unto Caesar what is Caesar’s. I learnt so much from this project, perhaps one day… And speaking about learning, one of the things I learnt (and practiced) in the last two years, is the importance of slowing down and just chilling… Slide 6: Sometimes Alone. Funny thing is I met quite a number of interesting people that day, cause of the T-shirt - a gift from le boo (@_temi_h ) Slide 7: Sometimes with the Boys #TheOtherGuys Slides 8: Sometimes in pairs, with fancy dresses and candle lights. #BJIKTC Slide 9: Sometimes with a whole Gang! šŸ™ŒšŸ½šŸ™ŒšŸ½šŸ™ŒšŸ½ (and Dapo Dollars šŸ’µ ). Cc: @sir_bernie Before my accusers come for me, šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£, I’m still learning this chilling thing…the goal is progress, not perfection. #branddesign #branddesigner #logodesign #yearinreview #naijadesigners #numberscodepixels

...Until Lambs become Lions... ---- I dunno what @jamezzzjoseph was looking for on his bass. Trust me, I dunno šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. Maybe it was shocking him sha 🌚🌚 . . . . Life was a lot simpler back then. Go to school, go to church, stay at home and practice. I remember the long hours, I remember the ruler that was used to spank my fingers when they made mistakes during sight-playing exercises, I remember giving up on the Drumset (wahala ti poju). I remember the "uncles", the music teachers, the ones who knew what they were doing as the ones who didn't šŸ˜‚. I remember the rehearsals, the kid performances, the times I'd be playing things so basic with so much pride in my chest šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. Who would ever believe I stared out with classical music, from the great #SmallWood to attempting #Mozart and #Bach pieces. But now, all we want to play is #detty šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ . . I'm grateful for the "labours" of love, I'm grateful for the process, and I know I'm not even halfway there. . . #ThrowbackOfTheYear #Music #ChurchMusic #Piano #Producer
