If I’ve never told you about Jesus, first I apologize, secondly, I want you to know that thousands of years ago, God loved us so much that He became man, walked this earth, felt our pain the way we would feel it and completed it by shedding his blood on the cross for us. This might sound crazy reading this for the first time, but it’s the reality. That man is called Jesus. The son of God. When he died and rose again, I became dead to sin and alive in him. Death has been defeated and now we have eternal life.
If you’d like to know this Jesus and spend eternity with him, you don’t need to shed any blood in the name of sacrifice, all you need to do is believe and accept this act of love.
The thief on the cross didn’t need to earn anything to make heaven, all he did was simply believed. That’s why it’s the good news. Your deeds are not what guarantees eternity but the Grace of God. Accept this Grace and enjoy life with Him forever.
