For the past few weeks, I’ve been sitting with what I can only describe as end-of-the-year blues.
I kept asking myself hard questions:
Did I really use this year well?
Did I do the things I said I would?
If I’m being honest, I was an emotional wreck… until I finally sat down and started counting my blessings.
And wow, it turns out, I’m not even done counting.
God has been incredibly faithful to me this year. It would be ungrateful of me to ignore the many things He strengthened me to do and fixate only on the things I didn’t do “well enough.”
This year wasn’t perfect, but it was purposeful. And every step I took was sustained by grace, not my own strength.
“For it is not your strength, but God who is effectively at work in you—both to will and to work, strengthening you to fulfill His purpose for His good pleasure.”
