Never ever did I see myself being a bus driver at any point in my life but I must say I’m glad I have experienced it . So many are quick to pass judgement on the children of Newburgh because of the city’s reputation but working with them has shown me how truly special they all are .They may drive me batshit fuckin crazy but I do love all of em and will miss them when I leave in may 🚌.
P.S. never leave food in a school bus raccoons will break in and eat your shit.

I’m super proud of this piece , not only did I finish faster than most of my big projects but I also used little to no references for it . Challenging myself to draw every figure from imagination :)
Nearing the edges of Planet Lonestars’s inhospitable territories untouched by The Frontier Company’s terraforming efforts lies Jon’s desert . A vast plane of a dried clay spanning hundreds of miles , the only life being the thorn trees whose sharp trunks can pierce the hardened ground . Few men dare to make the trek across this barren expanse.
The first frontiersmen to make the journey to Lonestar were contracts under The Frontier Company.
Sent to the planet to lay the foundations for the next wave of colonists.
Among these trailblazers was Box Co. One of the primary logistics companies responsible for the transportation of resources across the planet . Traveling in large convoys with each truck team consisting 3 people . One driving, another resting in the sleeper berth , and the last riding alongside or ahead in a quad scouting for potential hazards or threats(bandit parties , hostile wildlife, difficult terrain). The team rotating positions as necessary and each skilled in mechanics and driving.
While Box co commonly transported necessary materials, occasionally there were outliers . Deals made with wealthy colonists often sent teams solo to dangerous and unforgiving lands to lay down storage containers and other property on plots pre purchased for their arrival…
Sooo I finally finished another piece , this was definitely something different for me . I’ve never really drawn people in a grounded scene , or vehicles , or landscape ..so I’m not the happiest with some of those aspects but I am happy with finally taking on a project I was beforehand to scared to start . I’ve always wanted to tell stories and thats truly what I want to do with my drawing. Hence why I avoid it because I’m scared to fuck it up or fear not being able to pull off the ideas I have . But If I don’t start I never will. So here’s the first step . I hope y’all enjoy and expect to hear more about The Frontier and Planet Lonestar .

Sooo I’m really happy with how this came out and I hope you guys enjoy it too . Lately I haven’t felt as confident in my work and decided to push my comfort zone and set a new standard for myself as the illustrator I want to be . With some of my biggest inspirations being Karl kopinski and Kim Jung gi I want to work towards one day being able make work that is my own but accomplishes a piece with the same skills they utilize to make a scene .

Soo about little over 100 days ago I decided to start playing chess . I knew no one in the state of Texas and needed to get out of my house . I went to a chess club the first night and got absolutely obliterated . Since then I’ve started playing every day , meeting multitudes of great people, and have gotten my ass kicked unfathomable amounts .While I’m still a lousy chess player it’s been a fun journey so far and sketching the people I’ve played has been a good way to pay myself back the time I’m spending playing chess and not practicing drawing … anyways enjoy some of these portraits I have like 30 more to do 🍻♟️

LADIES & GENTS, It’s been quite some time since the last sketchbook Safari and I have been avoiding this one for a while for reasons I’m sure you can put together. Most of this scribble is from August to November of 2025.
I accidentally deleted everything on my old iPad including the sketchbook Safari logo … It felt like a time for a change tho so I’m debating how I’m going to keep the Sketchbook Safari series going in a new way :).
I’ve been filling out new sketchbooks , just haven’t gotten to posting em . We’ll see .

2025 absolutely battered me but nothing stops me from getting my pencil to the page
I didn’t get as many large scale pieces done this year but
- I hosted my first figure drawing classes for months every single week without a miss
-I drew every single day no matter how I felt
-I received the most commissions
-I made real improvements with my skill :)
- I move across the country & then moved again
- I didn’t pass away.. knock on wood .
