Have a listen as we chat with @mojaveoffroad #pci300 class 16 winner @_huntercarpenter !
Hunter just secured his first win in the class at only 19. First of many to come. Enjoy!
Well like they usually say it was going good till it wasn’t! Didn’t have the best draw for this past @mojaveoffroad Slash X Duel in the desert race and started 17th out of 19 people. The first heat was going good making passes and moving up but on roughly mile 12 lap 2 we hit this rock that a trophy lite dug up and it overextended the driver's front upper arm in front of the lower arm. At the time we didn’t know what happened but the only thing we knew was that it was driving weirdly and swerving left and right. We then moved out the way for someone and as I pulled back on course it wasn’t able to go left and just tipped it on the side. After my good friend @nick.masson and a course worker helped us push it over we got back going and finished the first heat 12th time-wise. Second heat we started 12th and finished 3rd physical. Same thing just making passes and finding our pace to run and on lap 3 or 4 we just found our pace and ran there all the way home. Thanks to everyone who helped me and will continue to help me in the future!

Had a great time at RAGE and I can’t wait for the next race. Qualifying was just where we wanted to be. I got 11th place just shy of the top ten I wanted. Saturday we weren’t on the grid sheet so we started 4 wide in the wrong row but we made do with it and kept on racing. First lap we caught a slower car and as we went through a corner he rolled the came back on top of us luckily nothing seemed wrong so we kept on going! On Sunday we started 10th and got ahead of the people in our row and just ran our own pace getting faster and faster each lap! Luckily nothing happened and we had no issues. In the end, we finished 8th place which I was happy with since I haven’t raced in about 6 months or so. Finally, I’d just like to thank everyone and all my sponsors who help me race and keep pushing me to do better and get even faster! Thanks for riding @raygriffith53 can’t wait for the next one!

Feels a little late but time for a race recap of the @mojaveoffroad transaxle engineering challenge! On race day everything was good and I knew I was gonna have to push hard when I can and conserve In the dust and tighter sections. I started 13th out of 20 or so cars and the car has never felt faster! The whole 1st lap we were just driving in the dust and we passed 5 or 6 cars by the time we came around for the second lap and were 6th or 5th physically. The 2nd and 3rd lap wasn’t much dust just passing some slower cars until mile 18ish we hit a rock I couldn’t see and taco’d a front rim. Changed it pretty fast for our first time and only lost about 11 min total on the lap. Luckily we only got passed by a few cars and I pushed really hard the last lap and made up a lot of time which got me my first podium(3rd)! I’d like to thank everyone that comes out and helps me in the pit or just supports me in general so I can race! I’d really like to thank @harleyletner70 for being the best fuel guy out there! Also big thanks to @hookedupmotorsports for being my babysitter at the race! #thankshank @competitive_edge_industries@uniquefabrication@millersigncorp@trnzwest@jamarperformance@ppm_performance@mpi.innovations #caltime metals @kingshocks@baja_bug_kyle@jeremytran24@glazeddonut58@ish_da_da_bobo@uniquesarah@tori_hook23@_shelbycunningham_@1423freebird@bridget_minor70@dirt_box_media@greentire.media
