This journey has not been easy and only the 28 of us will truly understand why.
To the 26 amazing individuals, thank you so much for fighting beside me throughout. I’m so proud of everyone as an individual, dancer, teammate, and a human. For being so gracious, compassionate, hungry (big backsss), and full of desire. All of you kept me grounded and reminded me of the very reason why I love to dance in the first place.
To the one and only
@sayakamil , thank you for giving me this opportunity to fight and sail with these beautiful bunch.
You didn’t just teach us steps.
You taught us to tell a story.
You taught us to move with purpose, to carry values before moves.
You led by example, in strength, in humility, in belief.
You taught us to believe in ourselves, and more importantly, to believe in each other.
You showed us what it means to be a good dancer, but more than that, what it means to be a good human.
I am beyond grateful to have found a place like this. I will miss this, our journey, and us. But to sum it all up…
My one word is ~ Surrender.
