Exactly one year ago,
@operasierra and
@anneflore.levacher came to Berlin, where we met in person for the first time and began going over the demos that would develop into Masking Tape. Anne-flore gave me structure, support and direction and was exceedingly patient with my constant changes-of-plan. Tim is an incredible musician, video/creative director and collaborator who shaped the world for these songs to exist in. So many times I sent him iPhone and camcorder clips that were all but unusable and he turned them into art I’m proud to have my music behind. Thank you to
@thegreatgaetzki , who approached all 8 of these songs with the professionalism and attention to detail they needed. He turned bedroom demos into studio mixes. Thanks also to
