I was asked to make some art for an issue I wanted to bring some awareness to. The inspiration for these filthy chickens was the need to rethink factory farming practices. Along with the inhumane treatment of these animals, the negative impacts are wide ranging, from the health of these workers and the public, decimating smaller independent farms that can’t compete, and environmental pollution.
