With over 15 years of dance and skate experience, Johnny Montero blends different dance styles from Hip-Hop and Breaking to House, Salsa and Afro into rollerskating to create a unique way of moving and connecting to your body. VAINVER IN MOTION | ROLLER DISCO EDITION Op 22 mei brengen we beweging, muziek, fashion en community samen in @de_krachtcentrale , Huizen. VAINVER is gemaakt voor beweging. Voor vrouwen die dansen, skaten, performen, trainen of uitgaan en zich vrij willen bewegen in iets dat comfortabel voelt, maar nooit onopvallend is. Voor onze eerste VAINVER in Motion editie werken we samen met @_headoverwheels_ , een bestaande roller skate community die mensen samenbrengt op wielen, met events, workshops en een sterke liefde voor skaten. De setting is De Krachtcentrale, een iconische plek in Huizen waar creativiteit, eten, drinken en cultuur samenkomen. Kom eerder voor een diner of een drankje bij de bar, blijf voor de workshop en rol daarna de avond in met ons. We starten de avond met een speciale workshop van Johnny Montero, bekend als @thesunskater , die speciaal vanuit Londen naar Huizen komt. Met meer dan 15 jaar ervaring in dans en rollerskating mixt Johnny hiphop, house, salsa, afro en breaking tot een unieke manier van bewegen op skates. Last Valentine day, I had the honor to be invited to teach a rollerskating workshop to celebrate @_headoverwheels_ 4th Anniversary to a group of around 37 people of all ages and backgrounds, mainly first timers🤗. Of course I chose to start with a line dance (meant to be off skates) to give them a test of community skate parties provide.
