A little sunshine to brighten up your newsfeed!
I was asked to create a new podcast cover for @thebrightsidespodcast - currently run by my friend Lizz! Her episodes are filled with relaxed conversations, always looking at the bright side of life no matter the topic. With a warm color palette, I created a hand-drawn style to represent the overall chill vibe of the show and something that would match Lizz’s personality, too!

A little insider about the creative process:
I got this super fancy lightboard for Christmas, and it was the perfect tool for finishing up Anna’s tattoo!
The flowers in the first drawing needed to be rearranged in a more vertical layout. With this handy dandy new tool, I traced the outline of the flowers I wanted to move around to piece together a better layout. Once the outlines were made, I finished the rest of the details and scanned each one into the computer. From there, I pieced together a layout and added in the text and viola! The final drawing was done 😁
Figuring out the creative process is different for each project, but that’s the most exciting part!
Okay so tattoo designs have now become my new favorite project 😄
Here’s the latest for my lovely friend @annalane3 🥰 Not only is the quote beautiful, but her idea of incorporating her kid’s names among the flowers is SO precious 🥺 Really excited with how this turned out!

Been working on a few handmade projects recently, including a sign I made as a gift for my friends! They just finished up the final touches on their new house, which has a beautiful view of the lake 😍 (I’m not jealous, it’s fine)
