It’s our proposal gist unfiltered (14/2/22).
All happened on this faithful day last year 14th Feb.2022. I was on my own jeje in the office and Uncle placed me on an unusual video call that lasted for almost an hour…. Prior to that day I’d had my nails done cause I had a youth program in my church. He took a quick glance at the nails💅 while still conversing and said, a ring would actually look pretty good on them🤪. I laughed it off cause it really didn’t get to me and I wasn’t expectant (not that early).
While still chitchatting, …. 2beautiful ladies walked into my office with a cake box & also a gift pack! I asked if they had a surprise gift package 📦 to deliver somewhere cause that’s their Job (surprising people) and they said Yes!
Little did I know that those gifts were actually mine and that my world was about to take a beautiful shift (blushing)🥰.
I started to unwrap my gifts with so much joy and excitement cause mehn….. it was actually my best Val ever!! I get gifts every now and then but, never believed there was anything spectacular about Valentine’s Day. That act alone changed my whole narratives and makes me see things differently now.
Back to our unwrapping of gifts😁.
Unaware of the fact that in there lies a mini box of either a beautiful jewelry or some sort of accessories…..
My attention was drawn to that and BOOM! There was a pretty Ring 💍 with a captivating write up that says “I love you not only for what you are but, for what I am when I am with you….MARRY ME MI AMOR”❤️.
Oh! My!! Gee!!!😳 I immediately became so emotional that i lost grip of myself…. It was one of a kind because Uncle had refused to show up himself for the norm (one kneel to the ground asking me to marry him)😁. Anyways, he’s still owing me that ‘prostration’ till only God knows when sha😏.
I’ve lashed out on ladies who cries for stuffs like this but, right then and there, I understood what it means not to judge a man until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes✅
